Have you ever bought a pair
of shoes knowing they were too small for you, especially during Fashion Week season? They were cute and on sale and you just had to have them.
But once you get them home, reality sets in.
Well, problem solved. Here are five crafty ways to make your shoes bigger.
Well, problem solved. Here are five crafty ways to make your shoes bigger.
1. Wear them around the house while wearing a pair of thick socks.
2. Apply heat to
the shoes with a blow dryer while you are wearing thick socks. And
bend your feet back and forth as much as you can.
3. Fill a sealable
plastic baggy with water half-way and place it inside each shoe up to the toes;
then place shoes in the freezer for a few hours or overnight until they are
completely frozen. Take shoes from the freezer and let thaw for about 20
minutes. As the water freezes, it will expand your shoes. Repeat the process if
your shoes are still too snug. This tip, however, isn’t recommended for
expensive shoes.
4. Buy a shoe
stretcher. You can get one for under $10 at Target.
5. When all else
fails, take your shoes to a professional shoe repair shop.
