Hopefully you've had a chance to check out my Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2011 coverage on Fashion Week Examiner.
My latest write-up is a fashion trend forecast based on the shows I saw and the coverage I read. From menswear to ladylike silhouettes and bold colors and prints, sartorially speaking this spring we have plenty to look forward to.
Here's a breakdown of some of the upcoming season's major trends:
Animal Print: Christian Siriano took the evergreen trend to the next level with subtle prints and red reptilian separates.

Here's a breakdown of some of the upcoming season's major trends:
Animal Print: Christian Siriano took the evergreen trend to the next level with subtle prints and red reptilian separates.
Men’s Wear: Lacoste gives the season’s masculine look a fresh spin with a crisp white shirt and pants with a skinny black tie.
Ethnic prints: Gwen Stefani was obviously inspired by African textiles and fabrics for L.A.M.B.’s Spring/Summer 2011.
Sophisticated Lady: Jill Stuart’s timeless, classic silhouettes are perfect for big city girls everywhere.
Bold Color: Prabal Gurung (top photo of blue dress) and Milly by Michelle Smith's (second photo of black and green striped sweater and print skirt) use of bold color and geometric patterns brightened up the runway.
love the bold color trend!
