I'm looking forward to the movie adaptation of Elizabeth Gilbert's bestseller Eat, Pray, Love. I love the real life story of how the author quit her job and embarked on a year-long journey around the world after a painful divorce, another breakup, and battling depression.
I'd like to finish reading the book before I see the movie so I can judge if Julia Roberts' portrayal does Gilbert's story of self-discovery justice. But a more realistic goal might be for me to see the flick and do some shopping inspired by Roberts' travel savvy style.
Here are a few globally chic accessories every well-heeled travel gal should pack to get the "Eat Pray Love" look:
A flowing, ethnic scarf like this one by Satya Rai.
A sturdy and stylish pair of gladiator sandals like these, on sale now at Amazon.com.
A packable straw hat like this one from Scala Collezione.
A roomy Moroccan straw tote bag like this one by Traders and Company.
